Who we are

Chompix provides an image conversion service and a WordPress plugin that uses it. Contact: hello@chompix.top.

What we receive

Nothing is sent until a site owner saves an API key in the plugin.

When an image is uploaded: the original image file, the names and dimensions of the site's image sizes, the API key and, if the watermark is on, its settings and logo. With every request, the site address in the User-Agent header.

How long we keep it

Original images and watermark logos are deleted as soon as the conversion finishes. Converted files are deleted as soon as the site downloads them, and after 24 hours at most.

We keep the account email, a hash of each API key and the number of photos converted per period, to apply the plan.

Request logs record only the method, path, status code and timing. They do not include images, site addresses or IP addresses.

Where

Our servers are in the United States. Traffic reaches them through the Cloudflare network.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account data at hello@chompix.top. Uninstalling the plugin removes everything it created on your site.
